Comments:
Primers: EcoRI, XhoI; cloning_kit: Uni-ZAP XR Gigapack III Gold Cloning Kits (Stratagene, La Jolla, USA); Variety Terra Regina. Pappus bristles. Pappus bristles were collected from all flower types from dev. stages 2, 4, 6 and 8. For stage 2, 4 inflorescences were collected; for stage 4, 4 inflorescences; stage 6, 3 inflorescences and stage 8, 2 inflorescences. Total RNA was isolated from the pooled sample.
